Teen Parenting Program of MA

β€œTPP provides structured residential living to pregnant/parenting teens who are ages 13-20. A collaboration between DCF and the Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA), TPP enables young families to stay together, in a safe and caring environment where they can develop the skills to make healthy choices for themselves and their children, and lead independent and productive lives.”

Young Parents Program-Boston Childrens’s

β€œThe mission of the Young Parents Program is to provide a family-centered, medical home with excellent primary care, behavioral health, case management, and parenting resources to teen parents and their children. We are committed to creating a non-judgmental, supportive community where families can access innovative, evidence-based, flexible care. MPPTI

β€œThe Massachusetts Pregnant and Parenting Teen Initiative (MPPTI) aims to increase life opportunities and enhance family stability among young families in the priority communities of Chelsea, Holyoke, Lawrence, New Bedford, and Springfield. Program participants receive services tailored to their individual needs, including health and social service assessments, case management, counseling, health education, referrals, and infant/children services.”

Young Parent Program

β€œThe YW operates Young Parent Programs in Holyoke (HYPP) and Springfield (SYPP). Referrals to these programs are made exclusively through the Department of Children and Families (DCF) or the Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA). The programs provide wraparound services to young parents, including case management, clinical mental health therapy, support groups, parenting and life skills education and support, and educational and vocational support.”

Young Parent Support

β€œYoung Parent Support (YPS) is a community-based program offering home visits, case management, prenatal education, life skills support, and assistance in educational and vocational goal achievement for young parents up to age 23. YPS uses the evidence-based Power Source Parenting curriculum. Referrals can be made by calling the YW hotline.”

β€œThe Young Parent Living Program is an apartment model facility where teens can learn the necessary skills to become successful young parents. The program provides constant 24-hour-a-day staff support. We provide referrals for all medical and educational needs, as well as transportation to and from appointments. Weekly groups run by staff at the program educate young parents on parenting topics and independent living skills. We provide referrals for therapeutic services, childbirth education, daycare enrollment, as well as assistance with DTA, WIC, and housing.”
